With the Stitching Our Struggles: Resistance Through Craft app and the image of an arpillera*, you can explore how art can be used to speak out against human rights abuses. Using augmented reality, click on hotspots to explore Carmen s story as depicted in the details of the arpilleras. Swipe left or right to reveal all three arpilleras explaining Carmen s journey from Chile to Canada. *This experience is designed to be used in conjunction with the image of an arpillera available for download from the Canadian Museum for Human Rights website.
